Word Retrieval Activities

Hi,
I'm assisting a young man (40) who has recently suffered a right CVA, and is having significant word retrieval difficulties.

He has great cognition and self-awareness, as well as good spatial and math skills, which we are trying to take advantage of in therapy.

For example, if he's unable to tell me the month is November, he'll count up to the number 11!

Does anyone have any good word finding apps, ideas, suggestions (he has his own iPad), especially ones that might utilize his strong math/reasoning skills?
