Whistling Speech

I am 48 years old, and for the last few months I've noticed that sometimes when I say words with S's in them, there's a whistling in my speech.

It's something I'd never heard in my voice before, and it's become very disconcerting.

Are there any speech exercises I can do to make this go away?

Is this a common thing?

Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

My sister recently had this same experience.

She mentioned it to her dentist and discovered her bite had changed.

She just got invisaline to correct her bite and hopefully her lisp her well.

Good luck
