Teachers recommendation

Hi there,
My daughter 6 years old. Just got a call from her teacher that she's bright little girl perfect in reading and maths and righting,but teacher feel that my daughter behind in speach, that after reading a story she can't really explain what it's about. I'm worried as she advised speech and language therapy.
Please help is it very bad?
