My daughter who is 4 and will be 5 on November 30th took the CELF 2nd edition 4 for a mild speech delay – she has had eight months of therapy.
Her core language went from a 94 to 118 and receptive went from 86 to 88 and expressive score went from 91 to 98.
The therapist is telling me we may have a red flag for audio processing disorder because of the large gap between the expressive language test and receptive test score.
Does this seem to be right?
It does not seem to be that large of a gap. We are working on two and three step commands and this can be challenging for her.
