Quick background, our son is an only child and all of our family lives in another state, hes 2 but we've never made him ask for anything we just knew what he needed and I think his vocabulary has suffered because of that, he just started a playgroup and after each seesion he tries to say more, I read to him, narrate what I'm doing(i just started that) is there anything else I can do? he understands everything, follows command, repeats every action we do , my sister in law told me late talkers run in the family but I don't know what to do.Any suggestions
