Making the "S" Sound

Hi,

I think your website is awesome!!!

However, I was wondering if you could help me.

On your videos you show how to correct problems with pronouncing the letter s like "th"... but what if the letter "S" is pronounced "shhhh" instead of "sss".

Do you have any tips on this? Any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.

I use a visual of a slide.

On every ladder rung (going up the slide) I place the letter "t". Have them same "t" at every step as you point.

This places the tongue in the correct position for /s/. Once the get to the top of the slide, they keep their tongue there and slide down with the /s/ sound.
