My 9-year old has been going for therapy for a couple of years at school to solely work on his S sounds. He thinks the therapy is making it more difficult for him to speak instead of better and is not at all a fan of his therapist.
Honestly, I'm not sure that he really has much of a problem with the S sounds myself, but we've gone along with the program and had him do the therapy. He gets upset because the way she is telling him to say "S" sounds very abnormal, both to him and us.
Not sure what to do for next step, as I'm no expert and don't want to have him miss out on fixing something that needs to be fixed. Just confused and looking for suggestions...
